VBox


VCAST VBox - functions as a decoder and convert the streaming media contents from Internet or Intranet into conventional AV signal outputs for any TV, VCR or Projectors devices. VCAST VBox is running on an embedded OS on chips without HDD for harden security and robust 7/24 operation. It will run automatically once power on and can power off at anytime without any data or system corruption. Remote reboot or upgrade of system image can be done remotely via Internet or Intranet or using the wireless keyboard as well. With VCAST Content Management Server, VBOX can be monitored in centralized web-based console. Apart from the traditional set-top-box which can decode video only, the VCAST VBox support dynamic multimedia content from VCAST Content Management Server or Internet, which enables the display with real-time information such as news, weather, etc and graphical interface templates.

 

Set-top-box - A  media player device for live or on-demand decoding of video streaming together with multimedia information such as RSS newsfeed from Internet or Intranet and output to TV, Plasma or any AV conventional devices.
